My client, an independent filmmaker, wanted a classic horror-style poster for their short film "MAN EATER", that will be presented in a film festival. Inspired by traditional horror, I designed the poster with a T-Rex about to attack a scuba diver. While not explicitly underwater, I created depth with shadowing and used the threshold technique to capture a vintage horror feel. The result is a striking, terrifying image that not only conveys fear but also piques the audience’s curiosity about the film.
Man Eater follows a group of survivors who find themselves stranded on an isolated island—only to discover they’re not alone. The dinosaurs inhabiting the island aren’t just genetically modified; they’ve evolved. Smarter, deadlier, and capable of blending into their environment, these predators turn the island into a relentless hunting ground. Survival becomes a game of instincts, where the hunters are now the hunted.
