My client, Cyndi Garavaglia, approached me to develop the full brand identity and supporting materials for her new café, Sole. This included the logo, personal business card for the owner, loyalty cards, new menu, packaging, apron design, cup designs, front of store signage, and promotional social media posts.
To reflect the warmth and soulfulness behind the name “Sole,” I built a color palette of warm oranges, deep reds, and organic greens—evoking both comfort and natural Italian flavors. I illustrated a collection of pasta shapes in Illustrator—elbow, rotini, spaghetti, farfalle, rigatoni, and penne—and incorporated them throughout branded materials to keep the visual language playful, consistent, and distinctly Italian. Each design element was carefully crafted to express Sole’s inviting, modern tone while staying rooted in traditional café culture.
