Molly Reed, owner of Suni—a clean, intentional candle brand rooted in radiant living—tasked me with designing a small, curated candle collaboration for their company and re-designing her logo.
With Reed's vision in mind, the logo needed to convey both movement and organic qualities—reflecting her brand’s foundation in 100% organic products. To bring this to life, I explored shapes and typography that captured a natural flow, much like the flicker of candlelight. The final design reflects the gentle motion of a flame dancing in the air, aligning the logo’s character with the essence of her brand.
Reed wanted a design that felt unique and spoke directly to teens ages 13–18. Through our collaboration, the distinctive scents inspired a bold, bright visual language—colors that capture the wild energy of each fragrance. I chose an aura of color for each candle that connects back to its scent, wrapping the packaging in tones that echo how candlelight reflects off walls and corners. This approach not only highlights the individuality of each fragrance but also creates a vivid, eye-catching experience that feels as bold and vibrant as the scents themselves.
